Book of the Month Review
Alas, our book review is done! As promised, we will be bringing you a new review every month. Hopefully, the next one will be here on the 1st of the month and not a week late as is this one. This month we chose to review a book from Tomey Marketing entitled "Outsource 123". This book is a prime example of what you can expect from outsourcing and a strong reminder that you must review what you've purchased before you publish it yourself! I hope the author gets back to school for some writing, English, and grammar classes. I was totally amazed at how poorly the book is composed. The material is thrown together without any logical progression. It is lacking in structure, and I got the impression that the author is a foreign exchange student struggling with the English language. Enough on that. If you can get past all that you will find this book is a very basic tutorial on the possibilities of outsourcing various aspects of your online business. It tells you what outsourcing is and why you may want to use it. It suggests a long list of job functions you may not feel proficient at. It points out that some times it is better to pay someone else (an expert?) to perform the task for a small fee. If you are new to internet marketing and feel as though you are floundering in areas such as ezine writing, web development etc. you may find this book helpful. If you are a veteran marketer you won't! |
